Slime Diva is a Boss. She is one of the first bosses the player may encounter, and the focus of the Diva Must Die quest. She can be summoned in the Effold Terrace by defeating the requisite number of Slimeks in the leftmost area after first clearing the Effold Terrace quest.

Description

Lore

Slime Diva is referred to as the Queen of all Slimes, who are likewise referred to as her 'children'. She appears when the player slays many Slimeks in a short time, proclaiming her arrival by either mocking the player or reprimanding them for harassing her children, showcasing a twisted personality that nonetheless still cares for her subjects.

Angela theorizes that the Slime Diva is responsible for the appearance of Slimes in the Sanctum Catacombs and sends the player to investigate her territory.[1] Later, she confirms her hypothesis and referrers to Diva's meddling as a 'deluded offense', tasking the player with eliminating her.[2]

Appearance

Slime Diva is a large, humanoid Slime who resembles a lagomorphic Poon. Her body is entirely green, sporting pronounced curves and very long ears that reach approximately to her thighs, similar to the rabbit-like ears seen on her minions. She has unique eyes with black sclera, small eyelashes pointing downward and unique cross-shaped pupils. Her expression is typically fixed into a grin, and a dark spot in the centre of her face resembles a blush.

Her outfit consists of a black, orange and red ensemble including a segmented top that covers her chest, but exposes her midriff and lower arms, a tabard around her waist with a long cape and several straps around her legs. She appears to be wearing black shoes, and as the Queen of the Slimes, she wears a pointed black crown. In each hand, she wields magical batons that she uses to cast spells to attack the player.

Behaviour

At the start of the fight, Slime Diva summons three Tar Spawn. If her wand strikes are parried, the effects of her spells will continue.

Slime Diva summoning slimes
Slime Spike

Slime Diva strikes with her right wand and summons a non-damaging slime circle on the ground near the targeted player.
After 5 seconds, a Slime Spike erupts out of the circle dealing damage to players that touch it and lasts for 5 more seconds.

While Slime Diva is below 50% HP, she can quickly use Slime Spike twice in a row, and while below 33% can quickly use it three times.

Slime Ball

Slime Diva strikes with her left wand and creates a large damaging Slime Ball that bounces on the ground and leaves damaging slime pools where it lands.
The Slime Ball disappears after 3 bounces, and the slime pools after a short period of time.

Slime Army

Slime Diva puts both wands behind her back and creates 2 slime circles in front of her chest, then fires a continuous stream of small slimes which bounce forward. During this attack Slime Diva always faces the targeted player.

The slimes created during this attack are only projectiles that bounce forward and cannot turn. Each one can deal damage and disappears after hitting the player or a short period of time.
These slimes do not interact with terrain other than the ground.

Trivia

  • During the Slime Army attack, if the targeted player vanishes Slime Diva will stop attacking. If Slime Diva is stunned, she will stop turning towards the target.
  • According to the description of the Slime Diva Ears trade item, her ears - unlike those of common slimes - are soft to the touch.
    • Also from her drops, she seems to wear Green Lipstick and a necklace, though they cannot be seen on her model.
