Concept art of a Poon Fighter

The Fighter is a class based around close quarters melee combat and casting skills via Stamina.

Fighter (Icon).png Overview

Its main attack type is Strength, meaning its attacks are dependent on the player's Attack Power. As such, this class' intended weapons are Melee, Polearms and Heavy Melee. Other weapons can also be used effectively if a  Might Stone is applied to the weapon.

Obtaining

Upon reaching level 10, Enok offers the quest Strength and Honor which gives the player a  Tome of the Fighter. Once read, the player becomes a Fighter and all skill points will be refunded.

Do note that choosing a class is permanent and cannot be undone.

Playstyle

A fighter lends itself well to close combat with their close ranged skills and superior parrying ability compared to other classes.

In multiplayer, fighters can serve as tanks with their ability to manage enemy aggro with skills such as  Stomp and  Shockwave.

Skills

Skillbook

Additionally siphons 15% of the damage to the Fighter's health. Requires a melee weapon.

Stomp Stomps at the ground, dealing (58 - 61) damage to nearby targets.
Blood Gush Deals (17 - 20) damage to nearby targets, then applies a bleeding condition to them. Requires a melee weapon.
Shield Bash Deals (6 - 9) damage to adjacent targets and stuns them. Requires a shield.
Cyclone The Fighter throws their weapon as a boomerang, dealing (18 - 21) constant damage as it collides with targets. Requires a heavy melee weapon.
Shockwave Smashes the ground and emits a shockwave, dealing (32 - 35) damage to targets. Requires a heavy melee weapon.
Rage Drives the Fighter and their nearby allies into a fit of rage, increasing all power stats temporarily.
Lethal Strike Sends the Fighter into a dash, landing a heavy attack on adjacent targets, dealing (8 - 11) damage each.

Hold [E] to charge, then release when fully charged. Cannot charge while blocking, attacking, or casting other skills.

Reflect Allows the Fighter to reflect melee damage back to the target if successfully parried.

Additionally increases parry window time and parry stagger time towards targets by 40%.

Bulwark Effectively removes high knockback from incoming attacks that are lower or up to two levels higher than the Fighter's level. Does not apply to traps and hazards.

Decreases stamina cost from blocking attacks by 50%.

Additionally provides a 45% chance to ignore stamina cost on a successful block.

Synergistic Novice Skills

While every novice skill can be used by a Fighter, the skills below synergize well with the class:

  •  Rock Toss: A cheap, spamable, long ranged skill that allows even more aggro management.
  •  Taunt: Another way to manage aggro, but may be underwhelming compared to fighter's native skills.
  •  Sturdy: Allows the user to be immune to almost all damage for 5 seconds. The auto parry effect also inherits the benefits of  Reflect.
  •  Talus: While it scales from Mind, it can lower an enemy's physical defense.

Subclasses

At the moment, the only available subclass for Fighters is the Support-oriented Paladin.
