Enok is a important NPC in ATLYSS. He can be found pacing around the barracks in Sanctum and provides the player with quests. He is also one of the three class guardians, specifically of the Fighter class.

Description

Enok is a tall, muscular creature with long floppy ears, a short tail, grey fur and red markings. He is lightly garbed, wearing only a red horned helmet, sandals, and a loincloth. He also carries two large battleaxes across his back.

He speaks in a very forward tone. He has little patience for the interruptions caused by the Shattering, and is always on a warpath against the corruption. When giving out quests, Enok usually expresses his disdain towards the various creeps, seeming to relish in their demise.

Enok acts as a secondary quest giver in ATLYSS, while also enabling the player to opt-in to the Fighter Class upon reaching Level 10. His quests typically involve slaying monsters.

He can be found standing in front of his throne in Sanctum.

Dialogue

When you first speak to Enok, he will greet you with the following:

Looks like we have fresh blood.
If you seek to toughen yourself and find the ways of valor, speak to me.
If you have anything to say, it is best you do so now.
― Enok

The player can ask Enok several questions about himself and the world of ATLYSS.

Resistances?

While fighting your foes, you must be aware of elemental resistances and weaknesses.
Many of the monsters that roam this world are bound to different elements.
In some circumstances, these monsters are capable of altering their elemental bindings.
Whichever elemental power they posess [sic], they will be weaker to another.
Fire is weaker to water, while water is weaker to nature and earth.
Earth is weaker to nature, and nature is weaker to fire.
The holy and shadow elements are both strong and weak against eachother [sic].
This can take some time to remember. I know you're capable of adapting to this.
― Enok

Parrying?

Parrying your foes is essential in melee combat.
To parry them, block shortly before they initiate their attack.
If you successfully parry them, it will not cost any of your stamina.
However, your foes must be relatively as strong as you for this to take in effect.
If you were to fight your foe and they happen to be much stronger than you,
you will falter and loose [sic] your stamina quickly.
Watch your enemies closely. They are nothing to you if you strategize.
― Enok

What is a Figher?

A lost soul can be driven to the ferocity of a Fighter once they have proven to be strong enough.
A Fighter can rend the flesh of foes, weakening them with bloodshed.
A Fighter can devastate surrounding enemies, from a close stomp, or afar with a lethal strike.
It takes supreme focus to have what it takes to master the art of combat.
If you have what it takes, return to me, and I can teach you.
― Enok

Who are you?

I am Enok, the Fighter Guardian. I am the ferocity of the light, upbringer of hell against darkness.
I take it you are new to this world. You've arrived late, during a time where it stands corrupted.
My powers provide the strength [sic] and vitality to the souls who are driven to prove themselves worthy.
I sense a spark of determination within you. Succumb to fear, and you will fail.
