Effold Terrace
The Effold Terrace is an early-game Open Field Zone in ATLYSS. The zone consists of primarily flat terrain, decorated with open ruined stonework structures and forest greenery. The zone is surrounded on all sides by high natural stone cliff walls. Several quests occur here, including The Effold Terrace, Diva Must Die, and Cleaning Terrace.
About
Initially accessible via Outer Sanctum following beginning the quest The Effold Terrace, the Terrace is a relatively flat area composed of ruined stonework architecture faintly resembling old gathering sites. Level 1 and level 2 mining nodes can be harvested here.
The entrance to the Terrace, by day, is inhabited primarily by normal Slimes. But by night, a darker, more powerful form takes hold within the Terrace; as Slimeks and Greater Wisps replace their oozy ranks. Slimeks can be found during the daytime too, however their presence is diminished, as they take shade within the local structures.
Within the ruins of the Terrace, two sites stick out: circular platforms surrounded by pillars with long overhead arches connecting them, constructed entirely of stone. The aforementioned sites are Slimek hotspots, with the darker oozes found there day and night both. Heading east from the first site, the player will enter a canyon filled with Slimeks around the clock. Grass stained with blue ooze, this area is sparsely wooded. A ruined house sits at the south end of the canyon: a chest spawns in the corner. Level 1 and 2 Mining nodes are scattered through this passage. The canyon leads the player up the hill towards the second site, where a World Boss spawn is located. A cliff south of this second structure leads the player back down to the first site, just west of it. Another hidden chest can be found atop a pillar in the western part of the terrace, amid a small pond.
Events
After beginning the Diva Must Die quest, players can summon a World Boss, Slime Diva. By traveling to the site at the back of the Zone and killing four Slimeks there, the Queen of Slimes will taunt the player, and spawn alongside her minions.
This event has no cooldown, but cannot have more than one instance at a time due to the prerequisite Creep—Slimeks—no longer spawning in the arena after event starts.
