Locations
The world of ATLYSS is made up of several different locations. Some of these serve as open zones for completing Quests and fighting Creeps, while others, namely Dungeons, act as a means of making steady progress and obtaining powerful new Weapons and Armor.
With the exception of Dungeon Zones, which are instanced based on the player's party, all locations in ATLYSS are universally-instanced in multiplayer, meaning that all online players will see and be able to interact with each other when in these areas.
List of Locations
Safe Zones 
Safe Zones act as safe points to the player; they cannot take damage in these zones, and creeps do not spawn here. Most have merchants and NPCs which offer quests.
Open Field Zones 
Open Field Zones are often traversal areas between other Open Field Zones and Dungeon Zones. Creeps can often be encountered within these areas. Occasionally, field bosses can be found here.

Dungeon Zones 
Dungeon Zones are combat-centric zones focusing on traversing a map pattern, battling creeps and obtaining items, with each dungeon culminating in a boss fight. Each dungeon offers multiple tiers of difficulty, with increasing challenge and rewards at higher tiers.
Arena Zones 
Arena Zones are special places, designated for PvP with other players and not available in singleplayer.
