Drop Tables
This page is a stub. You can help the ATLYSS Wiki by expanding it.
Drop Tables refer to the list of loot that can be randomly dropped by Creeps, chests, and other sources.
Mechanics
The displayed drop chances only dictate the chance of an item being in the drop pool for a individual drop instance, not the overall chance of the item dropping. When a drop table is rolled the following happens:
- The game shuffles the drop table.
- It then moves through the list in the new order, evaluating if each item should drop based on the listed drop chance.
- The first successful roll is then checked against the item limits: up to 1 Gear item OR 1 Consumable item and 2 Trade Items for standard drop tables.
- Certain items will have other restrictions to dropping, such as event or quest items. These will only be eligible to drop when their respective events or quests are available.
- The same trade item will not drop from the same source twice.
- This process will be repeated until the item limit or there are no more eligible drops.
Gambling
Skrit's Sikrit Market uses the same method for choosing wares, though items are always eligible to be chosen. Items for sale are chosen before purchase (when the menu is opened or re-rolled) and up to five items can be chosen from each tier. As before, the same item cannot appear more than once in a single roll (or tier, should an item appear in multiple tiers).
Resource nodes
Although Professions use the same method for deciding the resulting item from interacting wiht a resource, they have an additional property that guarantees an item is gained. If no item was successfully rolled for, then the game will randomly choose any item from the list to give as the item. In this case each item has an even chance of being the result.
