Byrdle
Byrdles are an avian race. While their features strictly limit them to species of bird, Byrdles have a wide range of beak, tail and "hair" shapes to choose from, allowing their creation options to be very unique from one another.

Previous Iterations
While not playable in iteration 2, concept art exists for an avian antagonist. Additionally, a Byrdle NPC named Nori would have been the trainer for the moon mage class.
Byrdles made their debut in version 802 of ATLYSS' third iteration. They had no racial icon nor description, but were playable, and could be customized. Angela greeted Byrdle characters amicably.[1] Byrdles were removed in version 0.0.95e. They were intended to have a patron goddess of their own: the Puuns were kin to Suki Nipps, and the Yeppis were affiliated with Angela Flux, but the Byrdle goddess, Dorabelle, only ever existed in concept art. Her shop room was modeled before iteration 3 was abandoned.
The race description for Byrdles changed a few times throughout development in iteration 4.[2][3] There were no "default" presets for any race in early alpha builds: traits were randomized upon opening character creation. However, the character creator defaulted to specific colors when one selected a race. All races had different default colors: for Byrdles, the body defaulted to a distinctive sky blue tone.
